Satguruji's Love and Care is not limited to only human beings but extends to the animal kingdom. With the weapon of vegetarianism as well as The Message of Aad(Previous) Gurus and Dasam(Tenth) Guru recorded in The Holy Aad Granth and Dasam Granth as well as The Teachings of Sri Satguru Ram Singh Ji and His Own Ingenious Ideals, Satguruji preaches as well as practices kindness towards all kinds of animals from tiny insects to large mammals. For they too are souls residing in bodies. Thus, their right for living should as well be respected. Very straight forward Hukams are also recorded in Aad Granth Sahib:
Serving the old and infirm is an important part of Satguruji's Teachings. Satguruji Instructs His Sikhs to Serve. Without any concern about the needy's caste, social status or wealth. No matter what cult or religion the needy belongs to, if he is in need, a Sikh should always help out as much as he can. Satguruji has donated litterally millions of Rupees for the construction/maintenance of hospitals as well as homes for the senior citizens. Satguruji Himself would many times visit the poor and homeless providing them with food and shelter as well as His Darshan - The Sight Worth Living For.
Respect for all religions, their philosophies and beliefs is yet another Teaching of Satguruji. Satguruji has always been An Excellent Model of A Peaceful Ocean and Instructs His Sikhs to become ones who possess tolerance towards all other religions. This is perhaps one of the reasons why many cults and sects of Sikhism are allowed to exist today.
The Faith in Aad and Dasam Granth Sahib has been reinforced times and times again by Sri Satguruji. It is Satguruji's Hukam for every Sikh to wake up at Amrit Vela(Before Sunrise) and Meditate on the Holy Naam as well as Read from the Holy Granth Sahibs. In a Namdhari household, Aad or Dasam Granth Sahibs must be read from cover to cover atleast once a month, as per Satguruji's Divine Hukam. However, Satguruji's teachings do not stop only at Reading of Granth Sahibs but also Following Their directions: To Meet The Guru of The Time Who would Give His Sikh Gurmantar that Must be Meditated Upon.
Satguruji has always been encouraging movements for empowerment of women and respect for the girl as well as world wide campaign against foeticide. Like Satguru Nanak Dev Ji and Satguru Ram Singh Ji, Satguru Jagjit Singh Ji also Gives Out strict Hukams against misstreatment of women. As Recorded in Aad Granth Sahib:
Beating, Selling as well as other misstreatment or discrimination towards a girl is forbidden by Satguruji, For it is Satguruji's Teachings to treat everyone, especially a woman, with respect. A women who is either a mother or a sister of someone else's should be treated as a Sikh's own mother or sister.
Satguruji has Blessed countless of His Sikhs with the True Khalsa Anand Karaj(Marriage Ceremony). It is against Satguruji's Holy Teachings to include any kind of dowry or senseless celebration to The Anand Maryada Taught by Sri Satguru Ram Singh Ji. Satguruji also Stresses the fact that the Sikh whose Anand Karaj would be performed should be a Khalsa and possess the 5 Kakars (Kes-Hair, Kanga-Comb,Kirpan-Sword,Kachera-Traditional Underpants,Kara-Silver Bangle) or else the Anand Karaj would not be performed.
The existence of Simple White Kurta-Pajama or 'The Khalsa's Bana(Uniform)' today, so long after Sri Satguru Ram Singh Ji departed from India, is yet another Great Blessing of Satguruji. The white uniform does not only symbolize purity as the color suggest, but also the 'equality' that people around the globe are striving to accomplish. When all men wear the same uniform, the unequality is automatically destroyed from their minds as far as the social status is concerned.
The above mentioned Teachings of Sri Satguruji add up to just a tiny fraction of His Divine Message for men of all walks of life. It is infact impossible to describe all His Teachings on a website, yet it is also impossible to stop singing His Holy Deeds and Blessings that He has showered upon His Sikhs. This is perhaps why His Sikhs have written over a dozen Books about His Holiness, Sri Satguru Jagjit Singh Ji Maharaj - The Supreme Spiritual Leader of The Khalsa.
